Young Rhys Tecwyn Jones snatches Club Championship from record breaker Chris Moore
Teenage golfer Rhys Tecwyn Jones became Club Champion at Clwb Golff Pwllheli for the fourth consequtive year.
Trailing overnight leader Chris Moore by a margin of 10 shots Jones shot a gross 69 on Sunday for a 2 round total of 144 (75& 69) claiming victory by 2 strokes from the unlucky Moore whose fantastic 65 gross on Saturday set a new amateur course record. Moore's 2 round total of 146 (65 & 81) was enough to clinch the clubs nett championship
